A Brush With The Game: The Annual Chris Beetles Cricket Show

Chris Beetles Gallery invites you to A Brush With The Game, the fifteenth annual celebration of original traditional cricket art. Central to the exhibition will be 40 new works by former England Test wicketkeeper turned highly successful artist, Jack Russell, with many new dynamic cricket pictures and idyllic pastoral landscapes on display.

Jack’s work will be in the context of 150 years of original traditional cricket art, with many important Victorian artworks, and 19th, 20th and 21st century cartoons by some of the best known cartoonists of the last 100 years, such as G E Studdy, Frank Reynolds, Bill Hewison, Feliks Topolski, Glen Baxter and Nick Newman.
