'At Heatherley’s a few years ago I decided to do a still life course. I had lots of bits and pieces because my ex-partner was an antique dealer, and I loved all these pots and pans. So I set up to do a still life course, and it the holidays before it started, so I thought I would whip one up! I did this one with all the bits and pieces to show them what I was going to bring in, and they all really laughed and said, 'What? We’re expected to paint this kind of stuff?''
