'Finished this small painting today, painted over a few days mostly under an umbrella, in St James’s park, looking towards Birdcage walk and St James’s tube station. There was lots of wildlife around me, herons geese, pigeons and squirrels, also lots of people and dogs and even two horses with policemen on them. This morning in the background I could hear the lovely military brass band...'
